Medicare Advantage Plans
Medicare Advantage is a component of the Medicare program known as Medicare Part C as an alternative to Original Medicare. If you are over 65, you are eligible for Medicare Advantage plans. The plan also covers disabled individuals under age 65 or those with certain diseases like end-stage renal disease or ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
Akawini Capital Insurance is a Medicare-approved insurance company that provides Medicare Advantage Plans. The coverage provided by these plans will take care of the following:
- The costs that are billed by hospitals also cover other inpatient costs billed by hospices and nursing homes.
- Other essential services you may need, such as lab tests, scans, ambulance services, or therapy.
- Subsidies on prescription drugs.
You are eligible for Medicare Advantage plans if you are over 65. As a disabled individual under the age of 65, you can have access to our Medicare Advantage Plans if you meet specific criteria.
- Your condition must be dire enough to prevent you from working.
- You must have been unable to work for at least 12 months or have received disability benefits for two years.
- The social security administration recognizes your condition as a disabling one.
Our Medicare Advantage Plans have low premiums, and we further help you save costs by limiting the out-of-pocket expenses you’ll incur within a year. You can also access medical services not provided under Original Medicare, like dental, eye, and ear care, and even gym membership.
You can also count on us to ensure proper coordination and communication between the different health services you need.

Original Medicare
Initially commissioned under the Social Security Administration, Medicare is a health insurance program provided by the federal government of the United States of America. Medicare is designed to help cushion the healthcare costs of citizens over 65. However, it has also aided younger citizens with disabilities and chronic diseases.
Medicare consists of 4 parts: A, B, C, and D.
Medicare Part A covers hospital services, including inpatient care. Sometimes its coverage extends to skilled nursing and hospice services, too. Medicare Part B covers outpatient services, including diagnostics (lab tests and scans), prevention care, and physical or mental therapy.
Medicare Part C, also called Medicare Advantage, is an alternative that allows individuals to pick healthcare plans that at least have the same coverage as A and B. They most often also have, in addition, Part D coverage, which covers the cost of prescription medications.
Under the coverage of Original Medicare, you can choose any specialist or primary care provider that fits your needs without needing a referral. Original Medicare also allows you to access healthcare services in any region of the United States.
Unlike Medicare Advantage, where all parts of Medicare are bundled into one, Original Medicare offers you the services in four separate elements that must be claimed separately. There tend to be higher out-of-pocket costs with original Medicare, though. There are no yearly limits on the amount of money you pay in out-of-pocket costs. Akawini Capital Insurance brings you only the best coverage.
